Information
The Information Department provides general information on library services and issues entrance cards.
Opening hours
Situated at the entrance to the library, the Information Department is open as follows:
- From Mondays to Fridays, 8.15 a.m. – 5.30 p.m.
- Saturdays 8.15 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.
Finding your way around the library
The map on the ground floor of the library shows the location of the various services on this floor that are accessible to visitors: Information, Porter and Wardrobe, Reference, Catalogue hall (general and specialised), Distribution and Loans counter, Reading room, Periodicals hall.
The specialised study halls (Consultation, Music and Manuscript halls) are situated on the first floor of the library.
The basement floor has toilets (which can also be found on the other floors) and a refreshments area.
Further information on research tools and on the use of resources and services is available from the Reference department, which follows the same general opening hours as the library.
